Day 40
Today, I sat home finishing up three quizzes that were due by the end of the day. The preparations and the reading consumed my whole day. I always find myself sitting till the last day to complete my educational work. However at my work culture my habits are reverse in comparison to the educational projects and my work assignments are completed before the deadline day.
So here is my question: Why do we have selective procrastination?
Is this because of the lack of supervision or pressure? Is this because we forget items with lower priority? Is this because we don’t put certain items in the time management agenda?
What are the some of the project that we normally push to the end of the priority list? The answers of this question could have many variables like: least challenging, most time consuming projects, most challenging, etc. The answers will be directly correlated to the personality type and style.
"A full completion is only obtained after all the tasks are marked complete regardless of the level of priority?"
